Doesn't vote

[edit]

Much has been made of Lehrer not voting to avoid appearing bias. He told Larry King in 2000 that he didn't vote, and hadn't since covering politics in Texas during the 1960s. In 2006 he told Colbert that he sometimes did and sometimes didn't. I am sure there is more to be found. --IvoShandor (talk) 08:17, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to see his picture in uniform. Monte Melkonian (talk) 04:46, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Change in status of show

I am planning to wait to change Mr. Lehrer's biography until the first episode of the PBS NewHour airs on Monday (7 December 2009) Mataki (talk) 02:19, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Emmy or Emmys?

[edit]

In the Career section it says that he received several Emmys, but later under Honors and Awards it lists a singular Emmy award. Editrite! (talk) 20:57, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
